Unpubbed challenge

Have not done one of these in a while, but decided to snap to it! The Unpubbed famer is also a SISter on Scrap in Style. {Thought that was cool!}
This is a picture from November 10th of my Granny and I standing in her flower bed - we thought her fall colored bush was so pretty. She was in such a great mood that day. So happy to see my mom & I. I am looking forward to going to her house for Thanksgiving on Thursday. She is one person who has always made you think about what you are thankful for - for that I am thankful!

Unpubbed Challenge

Decided to do this lo without photographs. Instead I used some vintage illustrations from a magazine, along with some Love, Elsie. I also tried a 6x12 - something I have been wanting to do. I love, Love the way it turned out. TFL.

Unpubbed Challenge

Had been wanting to scrap this cute picture of Granny from July. So glad to get the inspiration from a scraplift of Corey W. on Unpubbed. Worked great with some of my July goodies from Red Velvet Kit Club. TFL!

Unpubbed Challenge

I have finally fit in some time to do the Unpubbed challenge. {Yea Me!} Although I always check out the site dedicated to those of us "unpublished" scrapbookers, I never seem to be able to fit in the time to actually sit down and do one.

Time has obviously been an issue for me lately as seen from my lack of posts on this blog. Hopefully I can get back on a daily or at least every-other-daily schedule.

TFL!

I received my goodies from Red Velvet Kit Club today. I am so psyched about the new stuff I got~!I have never ordered from a scrapbook "club" or monthly kit before so it was a treat to myself and well worth it. I have already used a little of it for this page:
Which i I have uploaded for the Scrapscene flower contest on flickr. There are some really cool layouts*flowers on there. You can enter three times and I have a crazy idea with loofah! {We'll see how that turns out.} The deadline is Sunday, so i hope to get it done. I also entered an older page that I had of Alex from her second scrapbook. It was a scraplift from a layout of Elsie Flannigan's in Creating Keepsakes a year or so ago.
Another blog I've been perusing is Unpubbed. (as in unpublished scrapbooker). I may put something together for their challenge as well. I find it fun to do some of these challenges and having the opportunity to win new scrapbooking supplies!!! They really make me push my creativity and try new things in my crafting.
Okay, enough scrapbooking...off to do some of my online class work. :p
