So we made it through another year of our county fair.
We were blessed with cooler weather than we normally have.
We did have a little rain, but nothing to close anything down.
Here is a little view of our week!
Tuesday: first day horseshow
Thursday: goat (wasn't there so no pics) and cattle show.
Friday night: rodeo
Saturday: Farm Olympics hosted by Alex's FFA

(used Pioneer Woman's Fresh & Colorful, Boost and edge burn on this one)There was an antique tractor show. I love looking at these!

Saturday afternoon: Alex wins the County's Finest Showman for the second year running. Lindsay Huffmaster was her junior helper this year.
As always, I'm happy when this week is over so we can get some rest!
Today was spent doing our biggest community service activity for 4H, we clean the entire fairgrounds. Picking up trash from the midway and rodeo is not a pleasant experience I can tell you, but it is nice to be able to give back to our community in this way and when everything is cleaned up and back in its place it is quite rewarding!
I'll end with this old phrase:
Give a Hoot, Don't Pollute!
Please, when you are out at a public place or event, throw your trash in the nearest receptacle. Someone WILL have to pick it up at some point!
